Julia, thanks for reading my Music in the Twin Cities post, but you read my abbreviated version. Here's the more complete one . But I have a request. The thing took me over ten hours to compose and I've only had 25 views. The article on this topic that I wrote last year had over 200. I'm not sure why there's a difference, but could you promote this article for me?

I hadn't planned on writing one, but I can if you'd like! On the whole, I enjoyed the book, though it wasn't quite my favorite out of the series. :)

I'm sorry I can't remember which comment I made and where ( my blog, Twitter, Gather?) but I'm so glad to get you off to find Appetite for Life! So much in that book I have never heard about Julia Child, and it gives me even more respect for her, if that's possible. Much better and more insightful than the one she did with her great-nephew....enjoy!

Thanks for your support. I truly enjoyed my evening at the Fitz and writing the recap was a treat. I've heard Mr. Bly read his work a few times in the past, but *this* time was magic. Thank you for the opportunity. I understand why Bill Holm deserved the special tribute that was accorded him this past week.
