Julia,
Pings are fine with me... I am still figuring out the whole gather thing... anyway, Queensryche... I became a fan when they had their big hit with Silent Lucidity in 1991.... and quickly picked up a couple of their albums.. all of which have political content.... the most obvious is Operation:Mindcrime which is about politics, big companies and the church.... Their 1994 album Promised Land talks a lot about the gap between rich and poor and the social fall out of the modern world... As for songs... there are a lot, but the title track from Empire is a perfect example of their political material, or you could even take Anybody Listening? which really asking is anyone paying attention to what is going on... that said I think the two best political songs ever are The Dead Kennedy's "California Über Alles" and The MC 5's "American Ruse"

Hi Julie! Thank you for visiting my page and leaving a comment on "My Trip To The Dentist". One of my bestfriends lives in Minneapolis and raves about the burst of spring over there, and the awesome beauty of your surroundings. We are ALL sooooo blessed!

Maybe especially because she's only 6.

My last movie was also, Into the Wild! What did you think. I didn't know it was based on a real person until the end. Heartbreaking (as a parent, it was hard to watch - even though my daughter is only 6!)
